We all like to enjoy all of the audio video components in our homes; TVs, DVD players, DVRs, surround sound and so on. What we don’t care for is staring at five remote controls trying to decide which combinations of buttons on which remotes will play a DVD.

Capstone solves that problem, integrating all the buttons you need into one on screen remote control, laid out exactly as you want.

With the Capstone AV control, you have the capability to control almost any device with integrated IR control. This includes TVs, DVD/CDs, DVRs, Tuners etc., from virtually any manufacturer. Using the existing remote control for this device, IR commands are quickly learned into the Capstone Home Controller.

The system has an integrated remote control designer, allowing you to build your own custom remote to control one or multiple devices. Not only can buttons on the remote send commands to individual audio video components, they can also trigger any event you have set up in the Capstone system.

For example, one button labeled DVD may perform the following functions; turn on the DVD player, turn on a TV or projector, dim lights, set room temperature, close shades.

The designer is easy to use and as you can see, highly flexible in terms of what can be achieved.
